Jesus' Example of Leadership

Throughout Jesus' life on Earth, He taught us how to lead like He did through His actions and words. He was considered a servant leader-different from the world's view of leadership. In the worldly sense, people are selfish and greedy when it comes to power and materialism and having things done for them. Jesus is the total opposite. He is the most unselfish being who ever existed yet is rejected and is the most humble being to ever live. In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus said, " For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). The washing of the disciples' feet is a good example of this. He teaches that we should wash one another's feet in the form of serving them in love and compassion.  The main example of being a servant leader is when Jesus laid down His life for us-and it was prophesized in the Old Testament. He was the One who bore all of our sins and took the punishment.  "H e
