Imagine This: No More Sadness!

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.' He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!' Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'” Revelation 21:3-5 NIV
John, the one who wrote Revelation, is telling us that one day there will be no more sadness! There will be no more depression and no more bad feelings about yourself or others. Jesus makes all things new as all pain, sorrow, fear, and disappointment will leave. We will dwell in the house of the Lord and be with Him. We will be overjoyed to see Jesus, the disciples (men and women), Mary (the mother of Jesus), Joseph, the saints, the angels, our family members, our friends, and our animals. Jesus will defeat the devil for good! God reigns over his people and His power and glory will be shown. Good overcomes evil, and the forces of darkness are conquered by the love, mercy, and greatness of God. 
Take a moment to imagine this-seeing Jesus face-to-face. Then imagine walking with Jesus and holding His hand. Imagine seeing the apostle Peter on the other side and you three talking with each other. Then imagine walking with Mary, the mother of Jesus, where the angels are singing along traveling with you. Talk about an amazing site! Submit your life to Jesus. Repent, and believe in the Gospel.

LGBTQ: Loving vs. Tolerating

I am sure many people have family members or acquaintances who are gay and/or involved with the LGBTQ community. There are events that have happened all over the country; they are even happening in small towns. The pride flags have been seen by many and are even in schools-even to kids in kindergarten!   However, as Christians, we ought to call out sin and oppose it in our lives and the lives of others. This is completely different than affirming sinful lifestyles and tolerating them. Not only is this tolerated nowadays, but it is also applauded and celebrated.  Paul wrote, "Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. A Letter to Roman Catholics

Dear Roman Catholics, It is out of love and sincere compassion that I am writing this letter to you. I was in the Roman Catholic Church for 20+ years until about three years ago. Why did I leave? What caused this decision?  It is because of the numerous errors of the teachings of the Catholic Church when compared to the teachings of Scripture. I want to focus on the main one being salvation.
