Merry Christmas!!!

People tend to get stressful this time of year-presents, Christmas lights, decorations, Christmas parties, and so forth. People who work for stores and delivery services are constantly working. Other companies may have more work depending how busy they are this time of year.

Carrying down decoration boxes is actually a form of exercise-along with putting out lights, manger scenes, etc. Also, you can listen to music while wrapping/doing cards or make it fun with creative drawings and/or messages. You can also use your imagination with the presents and make them fun.

Also, the ultimate and biggest reason for joy is the birth of Jesus Christ the Savior. I just wonder the look on Mary's and Joseph's faces when they were told the news of Jesus being born and the actual birth. How about the looks of the shepherds and wise men? That had to have been amazing.

Luke 2:10-16
"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.'

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and sayin

'Glory to God in the highest heaven,
    and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.'

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, 'Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.'

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger." 
Matthew 1:22-23"All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 'The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel' (which means 'God with us'). 
Matthew 2:10-11"When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh." 

The birth of Jesus just has me in awe-and I hope it puts you in awe too. Have a nice Christmas!

LGBTQ: Loving vs. Tolerating

I am sure many people have family members or acquaintances who are gay and/or involved with the LGBTQ community. There are events that have happened all over the country; they are even happening in small towns. The pride flags have been seen by many and are even in schools-even to kids in kindergarten!   However, as Christians, we ought to call out sin and oppose it in our lives and the lives of others. This is completely different than affirming sinful lifestyles and tolerating them. A Letter to Roman Catholics

Dear Roman Catholics, It is out of love and sincere compassion that I am writing this letter to you. I was in the Roman Catholic Church for 20+ years until about three years ago. Why did I leave? What caused this decision?  It is because of the numerous errors of the teachings of the Catholic Church when compared to the teachings of Scripture. I want to focus on the main one being salvation.
